Solving your toughest remodeling problems with a quality process that gives you the power over final quality.
" The Blue Tag Quality process is our blueprint
for customer satisfaction."
Terry Pullen
Blue Tag is the name of the quality control process that guides and supports the way we perform our daily work. It consists of the following principles:
Price
We promise to complete the project within the allotted budget. No hidden charges. No surprises.
We use a simple, easy to understand customer agreement that spells out the project cost and payment schedule. If our client requests a change to the plans during the project, then we use a Change Control document to describe what changes are to be done and the impact of the changes on the schedule and cost of the project.
Quality
We promise the final product will meet or exceed your expectations for quality.
To develop our Blue Tag Quality process we studied the experts and borrowed heavily from a quality process developed in the late 1960s to support the Gemini space program called Zero Defects. The primary goal of the Zero Defects system is to "Do it right the first time".
The process was developed by quality pioneer Phillip Crosby and is based on four major principles:
- The definition of quality is "conformance to requirements"
- The system of quality is prevention
- The performance standard is zero defects
- The measurement of quality is the price of non-conformance
Another way to say "Conformance to requirements" is, "Meet the clients expectations". That is why we spend so much time with our client partner developing expectations and requirements.
Design is an integral part of the quality equation. In order to meet or exceed the client's expectations for beauty and aesthetics we start by using design drawings and pictures to develop general requirements. Then, once the project is underway we will use actual samples of carpet, fabric, fittings and surface finishes to set final requirements for the project.
Schedule
We promise to finish on schedule or we will refund $50.00 per business day that we go beyond the schedule.
For longer projects (more then one week) we use a scheduling tool called a Gantt chart. The Gantt chart is a simple list of tasks with start and end dates for each task. The Gantt chart gives our client a way to easily monitor the progress of the project.
Respect
We promise to be considerate of our client, their home and their neighbors.
We will keep a clean and safe work area. We do not allow loud music, smoking or coarse language on the premises.
Reliability
We promise to return all phone calls within 2 hours or by 9 am the following business day.
We promise to be on time. We will show up when we say we will, or we will call if something beyond our control causes us to be late.
